Privacy Policy
SkillKaJob (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a discovery + application routing platform. When you submit an admission inquiry, job application, or partner request, we use your data to connect you with relevant institutes/employers and to support your request.
Partner referral / platform fee disclosure: SkillKaJob may earn revenue from partner institutes or employers (for example, a platform fee, lead-management fee, or success-based referral fee) for facilitating enquiries/applications. This does not change your control over your personal data or your rights described below.
This policy is designed to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and applicable rules.
Key points (plain English)
- We collect only what we need to help you with admission/job support (name, phone, preferences, etc.).
- We share your details only with relevant institutes/employers to process your request.
- We do not sell your personal data to data brokers.
- You can withdraw consent or request deletion anytime (see “Deletion & your rights”).
Definitions
Personal Data means any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data. Data Principal means you (the individual). Data Fiduciary means SkillKaJob (the entity deciding why/how data is processed). Where you apply, an institute/employer may become an independent data fiduciary for their own processing.
What information we collect
We collect information you provide, and limited technical data needed to keep the site secure, measure performance, and prevent spam.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal data (e.g., government ID numbers) unless explicitly requested for a specific process. If a partner later asks for documents, they will collect it under their own policies.
How we use your information

- Contact & support: call/WhatsApp/SMS/email regarding your admission/job request, counseling, and next steps.
- Eligibility & matching: filter and prioritize options based on your preferences and basic criteria.
- Fraud/spam prevention: detect abusive patterns and protect our platform.
- Analytics & improvement: measure performance and improve pages/forms (aggregated where possible).
- Legal & compliance: respond to lawful requests and enforce terms.
Consent & communication
When you submit a form, you consent to SkillKaJob and relevant institutes/employers contacting you via phone/WhatsApp/SMS/email for your request. You can withdraw consent anytime by emailing privacy@skillkajob.com.
Who we share data with
We share your personal data only when necessary to provide the service you asked for.
1) Institutes & employers (primary sharing)
If you apply or request counseling, we may share your details with relevant institutes/employers so they can contact you, confirm eligibility, and proceed with admissions/interviews.
2) Service providers (processors)
We may use trusted vendors for hosting, email delivery, analytics, spam protection, and customer support. They process data only under our instructions (as applicable) and are bound by confidentiality.
3) Legal / safety disclosures
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect users, partners, and our platform from fraud or abuse.
Partner referrals & compensation
SkillKaJob may earn revenue from partners for operating the platform and facilitating enquiries/applications (for example, a platform fee, lead-management fee, or success-based referral fee). Partners should use your details only to respond to your request and manage the relevant admission/job process.
Once your details are shared, the partner institute/employer may process your data under their own privacy practices as well. If you want us to stop sharing your profile for future matching, email privacy@skillkajob.com.
No sale of personal data: SkillKaJob does not sell your personal data to data brokers.
How long we retain your data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to fulfill your request, run our operations, and meet legal/security needs.
- Admission/job inquiries: typically retained up to 180 days from last activity, then deleted or anonymized (unless needed longer for legal/security).
- Partner leads: retained while the partnership/onboarding is active, or until you request deletion.
- Technical/security logs: retained for a limited period to prevent fraud and diagnose issues.
You can request earlier deletion anytime (see next section).
Deletion & your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for processing/communication.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@skillkajob.com and include your name and phone number. We may ask for a quick verification to prevent misuse.
Your rights (high level)
- Access: request information about your personal data that we process.
- Correction & erasure: request correction/updates and deletion (where applicable).
- Grievance redressal: contact us if you believe your data rights are not being respected.
- Withdraw consent: opt out of future communication related to your request.
If you applied to an institute/employer, you may also need to contact them directly to delete data they collected.
How we protect your data
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Children’s data
SkillKaJob is intended for users seeking vocational training and jobs. If you are under 18, please use the platform with a parent/guardian. If we learn we have collected personal data of a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites (institutes, employers, payment/verification tools, etc.). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We recommend reviewing them before sharing data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or improvements. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
